how we grow
At Hometown Cultivation, our Living Soil is the first step in growing high-grade, craft cannabis.
Microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, nematodes and earthworms all play a vital role and facilitate a symbiotic relationship with the plants and roots.
Our growers have years of experience with a variety of cultivation methods and choose to cultivate in Living Soil because, as cannabis patients ourselves, we have consistently enjoyed a cleaner, smoother cannabis experience when the flower was living soil grown.

diverse Strains
In the cannabis industry, there is a vast sea of genetics to choose from.
We don’t advertise having the largest library of genetics. Instead, at Hometown Cultivation we maintain a smaller on-purpose library of strains strategically chosen based on their strain type (sativa, indica, etc) plus their unique cannabinoids & terpene profiles.
From legacy landrace strains such as Durban Poison, to new strains created through our breeding program such as Crema d’uva, our library is as diverse as the microorganisms living in our soil.

Moring use. Day use. Evening use.
Our goal is to have something for everyone.
organic food
At Hometown Cultivation, we only feed organic foods to our soil and plants.
Our well-kept secret lies within the in-house made and brewed teas that we feed weekly.
These 100% organic, custom brewed teas are designed to provide the soil and plants with 3 core needs.

IPM = Integrated Pest Management.
Plants are susceptible to a variety of unwanted pests and pathogens.
There are rather toxic chemicals some use in the cannabis industry.
Since we are growing plant medicine, we take the more difficult route to ensure safety.

OMRI* certified sprays
Our plants are never sprayed during the flowering cycle.
We recommend inquiring with flower brands you consume to learn if & what they spray during the flower cycle.
